This is a unique state incentive where qualifying donors receive a 65% tax credit on their Virginia state taxes. This is a dollar-for-dollar reduction of what you owe, not just a deduction from your income.

Individuals: Minimum donation of $500 (up to $125,000 in credits per year).
Businesses: Minimum donation of $616 (no maximum limit).
